4th T20I: Shubman Gill – Yashasvi Jaiswal Take India to Historic 10 Wicket Win in Harare

In the fourth T20 International against Zimbabwe, India clinched a dominant ten-wicket victory, securing the series with an unassailable 3-1 lead. The Indian openers delivered an exceptional performance, with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls and Shubman Gill remaining not out on 58 off 39 balls. Their partnership dismantled the Zimbabwean bowling attack, making the target of 153 look modest. Remarkably, the chase was completed inside the 16th over, a feat that seemed unlikely at the start.

Earlier skipper Sikandar Raza scored a 28-ball 46 to help Zimbabwe post a challenging 152/7 on the scoreboard. The Indian bowlers bounced back well in the last couple of overs to restrict Zimbabwe under 170. Wessly Madhevere and Tadiwanashe Marumani shared a 63-run stand for the first wicket but the scoring rate dropped a bit after the openers’ departure but Raza put up a late fightback.

Earlier, Team India skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bowl first against Zimbabwe. India handed debut cap to young Mumbai paceman Tushar Deshpande. Shubman Gill and Co.

With the win, India has now sealed the five-match T20I series 3-1 with a game remaining. The final game will be played on Sunday at 4:30 PM IST in Harare.
