Captain Knock by the Gill: Gujarat’s Win Thrilling Last-Ball Thriller

Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans clash in the 24th match of TATA IPL 2024 at the Swai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday. Rajasthan lost the toss and went into bat at home. They made a huge innings of 196 runs for 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ryan Parag scored a blistering half-century and Sanju Samson led Rajasthan into the 50th IPL match.
Ryan Parag scored the highest 76 runs for the team. He hit 3 fours and 5 sixes in a devastating innings of 48 balls. Sanju Samson remained unbeaten after playing a captaincy innings of 68 runs from 38 balls. He hit 7 fours and 2 sixes in his brilliant innings.

Going to bat, Gujarat Titans crossed the barrier of 60 runs in the opening pair. In the end, they snatched a thrilling victory in the last over thriller. Gujarat won the match by scoring 199 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Shubman Gill scored a captaincy half-century for Gujarat. He returned to pavilion after playing a fast innings of 72 runs off 44 balls.

Titans needed 35 runs in the last 2 overs to win. Gujarat scored 20 runs off Kuldeep Sen in the 19th over. They needed 15 runs to win in the last over. Titans scored 17 runs in Abesh Khan’s last over to secure victory. Rashid Khan hit a four off the last ball of the match to win Gujarat. Rashid remains unbeaten with 24 runs off 11 balls. He hit 4 fours. Rahul Tewatia got out with 22 runs off 11 balls with the help of 3 boundaries. Rashid Khan was the man of the match.
