Former Bihar Chief Minister takes an U-turn from her latest statement

Former Bihar Chief Minister Misa Bharti has taken a turn from her earlier statement, clarifying that she meant cleaning, not jail, for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Misa Bharti stated on April 11th that “PM Narendra Modi would go to jail,” which she later clarified to mean that the corrupt would go to jail.

“… I said that the corrupt will go to jail. My statement should not be twisted. Media should not set the agenda of the country; let politicians set the agenda, whether they are in power or in opposition,” the former Bihar Chief Minister said.

On Sunday, she made a strong statement, saying that if the opposition INDIA bloc comes to power after the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, “from PM Modi to BJP leaders, they will be behind bars.”

Her strong remarks triggered other BJP leaders, leading to a political debate between her and a BJP leader.
