Madan Mitra’s Stern Warning to Party Councillors in Presence of Saugata Roy

In a dramatic turn of events, Madan Mitra has once again made headlines with his fiery rhetoric. During a preparatory meeting for the upcoming July 21 rally, held in the presence of senior party leader Saugata Roy, Mitra issued a stern warning to the party’s councillors regarding the Ariyadaha incident.

Addressing the assembly, Madan Mitra emphatically stated, “I am making a humble request to Saugata Roy. Despite our repeated warnings, no one seems to care. Some councillors have become complacent, thinking their positions are secure. I am publicly declaring in front of Saugata Roy, those who think they are secure, rest assured, in a few years, you will be made to sleep. Councillors who are not listening to the party, who are acting on their whims and not participating in any party programs, take heed of this warning.”

Mitra’s reference to the Ariyadaha incident was a clear message to the councillors who have been ignoring party directives. He continued, “An incident in Kamarhati has tarnished the name of Kamarhati in West Bengal. Keep your ears open; you are being watched. Those who are thinking they will become councillors again in 2026 with Didi’s blessing, I tell you, your names will be cut with scissors before that.”

The Kamarhati MLA also mentioned his planned action against the hooliganism in Belgharia Ariyadaha. He warned that he would personally lead a march to the Police Commissioner’s office to address the issue.

Madan Mitra’s explosive speech is a reflection of the growing tension within the party ranks, highlighting the need for discipline and adherence to party directives. His warnings signal a crackdown on non-compliant councillors, emphasizing that no one is above the party’s decisions. The mention of the Ariyadaha incident and his plans to address the hooliganism underscore his commitment to maintaining order and party discipline.

As the July 21 rally approaches, it remains to be seen how these internal dynamics will unfold and what impact Mitra’s warnings will have on the party’s functioning and unity.
