Manu Bhaker makes Her 3rd Consecutive Final in Paris 2024 Olympics

Manu made it three in a row by finishing second in the women’s 25-meter pistol final with a score of 590 (out of 600). In the course of the two-stage qualification on Friday, the 22-year-old fired a total of 294 in the accuracy round and 296 in the quick round.

She has already won bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol and the mixed 10m pistol event with Sarabjot Singh in the past week. Having won three Olympic medals, she now has the opportunity to become the best Indian shooter. Manu has penned one of the most amazing comeback tales in Indian sports, though, even if she doesn’t place first on the podium on Saturday.

The 22-year-old shooter was second only behind Hungary’s Veronika Major, who tied the Olympic record with a score of 592. The shooter proceeded to dominate the competition, finishing in the top three throughout the entire qualification phase of the “Precision” and “Rapid” rounds. During the pistol qualification rounds, she demonstrated her exceptional skill by firing 294 in the demanding “Precision” round, earning scores of 97, 98, and 99.
