SRH Complete Domination Over LSG , Chased 166 in Just 9.4 Overs & 10 Wickets

SRH vs LSG Highlights: Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma scored brisk fifties as SunRisers Hyderabad made mockery of the 166-run target set by Lucknow Super Giants at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday. Helped by Head’s 89 not out off 30 and Abhishek’s unbeaten 75 off 28, SRH reached home in 9.4 overs. Their win also meant that former champions Mumbai Indians are knocked out of the tournament.

The Hardik Pandya-led side, which has 8 points after playing 12 games, could reach to a maximum of 12 points. While Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and SunRisers Hyderabad have already more than that in their kitty, the winner from the Delhi Capitals vs Lucknow Super Giants game on May 14 is also certain to have at least 14 points.

Talking about the SRH vs LSG game, Ayush Badoni’s unbeaten fifty carried the KL Rahul-led side to 165 for four in 20 overs. For the Super Giants, Badoni (55 not out) and Nicholas Pooran (48 not out) pushed them forward after they elected to bat first. For SRH, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most successful bowler (2/12).

SRH scored 107 runs scored in the powerplay. In all T20 cricket, only seven times have 100 or more been scored in the powerplay. SRH have the top two scores, both this year.
