Tragedy on Lucknow-Agra Expressway: 18 Lives Lost as Bus Collides with Milk Tanker

In a devastating accident, a double-decker bus collided with a milk tanker on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, resulting in the loss of 18 precious lives. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours in Uttarpradesh’s Unnano today and has left families and authorities in shock. As per report, 3 women and one child was among those killed.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus was traveling from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi when it lost control and rammed into the milk tanker on the Lucknow-Agra expressway. The impact was massive, causing the bus to overturn and trap passengers inside. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and managed to pull out survivors, but 18 people succumbed to their injuries.

The victims include men, women, and children, with some families losing multiple members. The identities of the deceased have been released, and the authorities are working to inform their families.

As known, the injured has been rushed to nearest hospital and taken necessary care.

The chief minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his anguish over the happenings and insisted the hospital to take necessary aid for the speedy recovery of the patients.
