The shocking event unfolded in Daulatabad on Saturday morning, sending shockwaves throughout the area. The victim, identified as Sabia Khatun, aged 19 and a resident of Mirzapur area in Daulatabad, succumbed to fatal injuries inflicted by a knife. Her boyfriend, Manwar Hossain, stands accused and has been apprehended by the authorities. Hossain hails from Hajipara village.
The tragic tale unravels a four-year-long relationship between Manwar and Sabia. Recent reports suggest a rift had emerged between the couple, with Sabia allegedly distancing herself from Manwar. Fueled by suspicion, Manwar confronted Sabia, alleging infidelity, and the confrontation turned deadly. Sabia was brutally stabbed in the stomach behind Daulatabad Primary School on Saturday. Despite efforts to save her, Sabia was pronounced dead upon arrival at Murshidabad Medical College Hospital.
Authorities wasted no time in apprehending the accused, who was found in Hazaripara village. Sabia’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination, while investigators delve into the couple’s social media presence for clues about the deteriorating relationship.
