UP Election : Hindutva will remain important for the BJP.

In the Uttar Pradesh elections, BJP did not give ticket to a single Muslim in the first list of 107 candidates, further strengthening the path of Hindutva.

Opposition party Akhilesh Yadav’s SP and its ally RLD have given 31 per cent tickets to Muslims in the first phase, while Mayawati’s BSP has given 26 per cent. It is clear that the issue of Hindutva will remain important for the BJP.

Throwing water on all the speculations and assessments, the BJP has fielded the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, as a candidate from Gorakhpur city. BJP has broken the record of 18 years by adding the name of Baba Yogi Adityanath in its first list.

Actually, after 18 years, in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, any CM is going to be a contender from any seat. Earlier, Mulayam Singh Yadav became the CM of UP for the last time by contesting the assembly elections from Gunnaur seat.

Now the practice of becoming CM by becoming a member of the Legislative Council i.e. MLC in the 2022 assembly elections is breaking.

Yogi Adityanath contested the Lok Sabha elections from Gorakhpur for the first time in 1998 and won. He was MP from Gorakhpur for 5 consecutive terms before becoming the Chief Minister in 2017. Obviously Gorakhpur is the stronghold of Yogi.

The BJP has decided to field Yogi from Gorakhpur instead of Ayodhya or Mathura because Yogi himself or the party will not have to work hard to contest from here.

So, in view of the recent upheaval in the party, Yogi will be able to concentrate on campaigning across the state.

Thanking the BJP leadership for giving ticket from Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the party will form the government in Uttar Pradesh with a thumping majority, there is no doubt about it.

The effectively work done by BJP on the issue of nationalism development and good governance is in front of all the people.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s decision to field Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from the Gorakhpur Urban Assembly constituency, saying the BJP has already sent him to his home.

Akhilesh tweeted, ‘Sometimes said Mathura, sometimes said Ayodhya and now they are saying that before the people of Gorakhpur, their party has sent them back home. Actually he has not got the ticket, his return ticket has been cut. UP says today, does not want BJP, bicycle in twenty.
