Bhuvneshwar Kumar snapped three wickets, including that of Rovman Powell off the last delivery of the game as Sunrisers Hyderabad inched past the Rajasthan Royals by just the one run. Powered by fifties from Travis Head and Nitish Reddy, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 201/3 against the Rajasthan Royals. While Head put together a rather uncharacteristic knock, 58(44), Reddy was in firm control of his knock as he laced eight sixes and three fours to score 76 (46).
However, Powell’s heroics went in vain as he was dismissed for 27 off 15 balls. In the 20th over. RR needed 2 runs off the last ball, right when Bhuvi struck with his magic, to bowl Powell out with an LBW and clinch a thrilling 1-run win for the hosts.
