BJP leader and advocate G Devrajegowda was arrested last night. According to the police, he was arrested at Gullihol gate by the Hiriyur police.
In the complaint filed, the victim claimed that she was physically harassed and threaten by Devraj and others.
Looking further into the case we see, Devrajegowda has been booked under sections 354(A), 354C, 448 ,506 , 34 of the IPC and 66(E) of the Information Technology Act 2008.
But, Devrajegowda rejected the allegations.
According to the Police FIR, the case will filed on April 1 for the offence which took place in February 4 at the victims house in Holenarasipura town of Hassan. According to reports, other three have also been named in the case.
