Touch Their Own Record! RR Chase IPL’s Highest Run Chase. Butler’s Masterclass Beat KKR on Last Ball Drama!

Rajasthan Royals touched their own record. Sanju Samson set the precedent of winning by chasing the highest run in the history of IPL. They chased down Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 224 runs at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday. KKR scored 223 runs. In response, Rajasthan scored 224 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs.

And due to that victory, Rajasthan touched the precedent set in Sharjah four years ago. Batting first in the 2020 IPL, Kings XI Punjab scored 223 runs for two wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Rajasthan won by 226 runs for six wickets with three balls to spare. Jos Buttler did not get a run in that match. But he was the hero on Tuesday.

Jos Buttler’s 107 lead Rajasthan Royals to a thrilling final-ball win against Kolkata Knight Riders – the joint-highest run chase in IPL history.

Buttler notched up his hundred off 55 deliveries as he led RR in a sensational 224-run chase against KKR. Buttler thus went past Chris Gayle in the all-time list for most IPL hundreds with his seventh century.
